I was reading an article that said Damiler lost upwards of $500k on each Maybach vehicle they sold, even with a price tag of over $370,000 for an "entry" Maybach 57. So, I guess, that although they sold for $370K, the cost to Damiler was at least $870K each.

This might be a "sore" topic for Qvale, but I was wondering what a similar calculation would be for each Qvale Mangusta? A Qvale Mangusta may have sold for about $80K, but cost for the production run of 284 vehicles was what approximate amount? John, can you give us a rough estimate at this late date? Perhaps I could brag that I'm driving a vehicle that cost a million dollars to make!

I can tell you that #3 that i have here..a prototype car, the cost to hand build that car was over $385,000.00 ..ouchhhhhh..

Any rough estimate on how much it cost to get the Qvale/Mangusta company up and running, then operating time, etc. to its final unfortunate demise? Then divide this by the 384 cars made. Perhaps each cost close to the $300K mark or more?
