I bought #225, which is black and a stick shift from a salvage auction In Northern California. The owner slid it out in the rain and into Tomales Bay near San Francisco. It was not in the water long, but obviously any amount of time in the water is going to create problems. So far, I've drained the engine, put lubricant on any metal, pulled the manifold to clear water from the engine, and cleared water anywhere else I could find it. I've replaced the starter, put new oil in and the engine turns over freely. I had keys made for it, but haven't had the keys programmed yet because I need to first get the electronics working. It will be another $65 to have the key programmed. The car had 9,000 miles when it was serviced in Dec. 2010. It has deep gouges across the hood and front and a couple of the gouges are all the way through for an inch or so. One of the headlights is pushed down a couple inches. Other than that the body is in good shape. The hard top is missing. The dealer has one for $895. I'd sell it now for $6,500. If not, I'll just make it my project car.
