Fellow Mangusta owners
At our last outing at the Car Club Showcase at the Hilton Head Concours we were approached by the now president of the Pantera Owners Club, Michael Shortt, to become members of this organization which not only supports the DeTomasa Pantera but the other DeTomasa developed cars. I understand that this club which already includes will be further developed to include all the DeTomasa cars and certainly would be very supportive of the Qvale Mangusata. Attached is the email that I received from Mike and encourage you to consider joining this group. We believe that this level of support from a national organization with help the recognition and value of our cars. We will need a minimum of 15 people to join to start our own chapter. Please feel free to write or contact me personally if you have any questions. We welcome your comments.

I want to form a POCA Chapter esp for Qvale Mangustas, I have already run this past my BOD and we're all excited to welcome you guys into POCA.
You would have your own Chapter, yet be able to play with all the other Chapters for events, shows, etc.
We would provide the Chapter website, Individual member pages, the quarterly Magazine, the monthly newsletter ( in which you would have an article )
It would be like having your own club with an instant 42+ year history.

Dues are $75 per year and the Chapter gets a $25 rebate for POCA for each member, so if you had 30 members, your would each join for 475 and we
would cut the Chapter a check for $750 to fund your events.

Here is a list of what you can expect over the next 18 - 36 months, hopefully mush faster, but as I said above, it is all dependent
upon how we fund the expansion. Yes, we could do it all at once, but I feel that would not be responsible of me as a leader, we must
manage our resources well.

and a write up (according to the guidelines), A single car may only be shown once in a calendar year. Must be DeTomaso Cars.

17. Advertiser's Directory and links, ONLY THOSE who buy Website banner ads are listed here, it is basically a redundant page with copies
of their ads all on a single page, rather than how they will normally be found, rotatiing at random on all the pages.

Speaking of Advertising, we now have new plans and rates for display advertising in the Newsletters, Profiles and on the Website,
you can check those out on the Advertising tab at www.poca.com. If you are a vendor or offer a product or service of interest to
POCA members, I urge you to advertsie with us, grow your business and support POCA's growth.

There is a local chapter here in Seattle. I have been to a meeting and they were encouraging me to join the national club and participate in their events. They were very intrigued by my car and there are two more Qvale Mangustas in the Seattle area. I haven't joined yet, but would definitely be interested in being a part of a Qvale chapter and be associated with the local Pantera club chapter.
