 Re: EAST COAST/SOUTH GATHERING of the MANGUSTAS Mangusta owners I got a positive response from Bill Schmidt, chair of the car club showcase Hilton Head Concours and we will be receiving an invite to the show.
They showcase 16 clubs and allow about 10 cars per club. Let us talk about participating in this as a first gathering for the Mangusta.

Re: EAST COAST/SOUTH GATHERING of the MANGUSTAS I checked, it looks like the Hilton Head Concours for 2015 is around Nov 1st. One of the other options that I am going to discuss with John when we get together is an "Italian Car Day" show that is in the Atlanta area about that same time. Of course this is a show just for Italian cars. Here is a link to their website http://www.italiancardayatlanta.com/h-o--m--e.htmlI did not see any Mangustas in their pictures I found on the web, and the Marquee is not among those on their webpage, so we could help make their show complete. Also, the US BMW factory is in this area, and they have a big Eurofest car show in the October timeframe, here is a link to that info http://www.euroautofestival.com/One of the organizers of the Eurofest talked to me at a local Cars and Coffee last spring and really wanted me to bring my Mangusta to their event, but I could not make it due to other commitments. There are a couple of other options that we could do earlier in the year that John and I will discuss, then bring here to get everyone's thoughts Bill

He loves this type of Venue..

Re: EAST COAST/SOUTH GATHERING of the MANGUSTAS We are awaiting the delivery of our Mangusta here in Jacksonville, FL. We'd love to join the caravan of Floridian's when everyone heads to SC to meet. I've heard they are looking at one of the events associated with the Hilton Head Concours in October. I love that idea as the island is a pretty place and the Westin is at the "plantation" where the concours will be held. It has a parking garage where many of the resorts don't so you end up with sprinklers hitting your car and oak tree stuff falling on it. Hopefully the concours people will decide in time to ensure nice places to stay though I doubt October is a booming time on the island.
