Some Issues
Hi, I just picked up #94 in Ferrari Red and Love It! But there are a few glitches, so any advice regarding fixes and parts would be appreciated...
1) Windshield Wiper Washer Doesn't Work....switch, motor, fuse...?
2) Power Mirror Adjustment Doesn't Work Either Side...(ditto)
3) Weatherstripping Needed All Around
4) Front Hood (Engine Bay Cover) Struts Needed
5) Fuse Box Cover Broken, Replacement Needed
There's more but that's a good start. If you've had these problems and found a solution....thanks

Re: Some Issues
John (#179 on the board here) has all the parts that are available and can advise. As "The keeper of the Flame", he monitors the board and I'm sure that he will chime in shortly. Welcome to the family!

Re: Some Issues
Thanks John (& Others), I am really loving this car!!! That video with Bruce Qvale on YouTube has him saying that this is a car that grows on you, and gets better the longer you own it, and so on, and I would say that he is absolutely right. It's a dream car and I feel very fortunate to own it!
FYI I got the Windshield Squirters working somehow and replaced the hood struts with new O'Reilly (Mustang) items from the very same manufacturer (the replacements are narrower in diameter but seem to hold up the hood just fine) so please drop those items off the parts list. Don't know what the power mirrors need yet (fuse, relay, motors, switch?) but the car is looking good and getting better.
I'd say replacement weatherstripping is job #1, to quote Ford!!! Meantime, contact cement is helping....
Also, about those Antara valve stem items that let you reach down and get at the valve for filling up air and etc., do you typically get one of those and move it from wheel to wheel, or four, or...? I guess I need at least one, don't feel comfortable right now with not being able to add air!
Thanks again!

Re: Some Issues
You only need one button "wrench" (to engage the holes in the cover button) and one stem extension. Use them on each wheel as needed.

Re: Some Issues
You're welcome. I just keep mine handy in a 'baggie' in the glove box along with my air gauge.
