Mangusta #274 is for sale.
Mangusta #274/284, and one of only 43 made in Tigre Yellow, is now for sale in Rhode Island. The car is a 5 speed with traction control and Borla exhaust and has around 24,500 adult driven miles on it. It is in "near showroom" condition, having been driven on nice days only and garaged winters. I'm asking $29,500.
It was originally owned by a San Francisco dentist who serviced it at the Qvale facility there. When I bought the car in 2008, I had it shipped to Boston where it has been serviced by Weymouth Honda, a business whose owner is an avid Mangusta, Cobra, and Mustang collector. I have service records going back to the build sheet in Modena.
Since I've owned it, I have replaced the troublesome Nakamechi radio with a Sony model, and put on a set of Dunlop high speed rated tires about 5,000 miles ago. It's mechanically excellent.
The yellow color is quite an eye-catcher, and the car gets a lot of attention whenever I take it somewhere. I've laminated some of the original sales brochures to show to people wh want to know about it.
Like all Mangustas, this is a sweet touring car with a shot of American muscle to move it along. It's been a joy to own, but, sadly, its time for me to move on. I can answer any questions by email at
