I had a little mishap: hit a temp speed bump installed by a repair crew . Totally didn't see it.
As soon as it happened car stalled. Pressing accelerator would rev the engine and then RPMs go down. Eventually the car wouldn't start. Had to tow my baby home.
After a bit of troubleshooting, and as I expected - it was a fuel pump. Wasn't turning at all. Got a new pump from O'Riellys. hooked it up without installing - same issue, pump is not buzzing. After reading Cobra user manual it came to me:
THERE IS A FUEL KILL SWITCH in case of an accident (now you can imagine how hard I hit it). All it took was pressing the button and voila: old pump works, car starts and drives )). Here is what you need to know:

1. Fuel pump is very easy to get to, just remove the liner in the trunk and it is all there in front of you
2. Fuel pump for Cobra SVT 99-2004 is a perfect fit. Store sells it for $199, online $129.
3. To replace - just unscrew 8 bolts, remove the metal cover. Push 2 tabs on the pump inward and pull it out of the tank.
4. The kill switch is on the left side of the tank. Looks like a black plastic box with the red button on top. If the button is up - just push it in.
5. If you are working there replace fuel filter. it is $9 at a parts store and replacing it is a 3 min job: unhook fuel lines , just loosen the bracket and replace the filter. Same Cobra SVT fuel filter works.
