Post Trick? To putting up the rototop?
I can not figure out how to get the top up. I thought that it was strait forward, as it was putting it down. Is there a trick?

I'm not aware of one.
Is it not trying to rise at all (bad switch?) or trying, but not succeeding (actuator cycling or stalling, but no top movement as if in a bind)?

I have been advised that when putting it down, one should run it down a bit, then run it back up some, then back down. Something about keeping it from binding and not wanting to come back up after having been put in a bind. I guess this bit of lore is a bit late for you.

John?

Thanks for the posting.

It seems this car, and maybe all of them, requires that the emergency brake is on. Once I got the brake pulled up more than 2 inches, and now it works.

Aha! Yes, key in full "on" position, handbrake engaged.
Smart prerequisite, don't you think?!

Did you not get an owner's manual with the car?
