Who said anything about keeping the Qvale plate? I was more thinking of the prototype that I drove in Modena in 99.

Sure I know it is 2012. It was a long time ago that I drove the car, but still. It took me a while to find a car, one that I could afford. As it now, the badge is just sitting around, why not put it to good use. It is not like anyone is going to know what kind of car it is.

I remember when I first saw the model of the Bigua (it is still around in the New deTomaso museum), we were still producing the spyder Guara, and my mother wanted one of those, so she asked her sister about it. My aunt, Isabelle deTomaso, suggested shipping it over part by part and then letting my brother and I a assemble it, that brought a round of laughter from Santiago deTomaso. Years before, when I worked on a spyder Longchamp, I looked into importing it. In those days, you could still do gray market, but the deTomaso name raised flags at the DOT, and they shut me down fast.
