Post Mangusta Smashed!!!
Driving on I-10 and its starts raining. Then it starts pouring down. Luckily, I have these new RainX wipers on my RainX treated glass. Some JERK OFF was on the breakdown lane under the I-55 overpass. You know how people pull over under the overpass when their wipers work or if they're on a motorcycle? Well apparently, this guy decided that the rain had slacked enough to leave because he pulled out and I slid, hydroplaned, spun and suddenly this rollercoaster ride evened out heading directly into the guardrail (right over the alligator infested Bonne CArre Spillway). BAmm (LIKE EMERIL'S) right into the guardrail and the airbag poofs right into my face. I spin and spin and suddenly I stop westbound in the eastbound lane. I take my foot off of the accelerator after I come to my senses and the car rolls over to the breakdown lane. Supercharged MAngusta up in smoke.
At least I'm still alive.

Maybe it can be rebuilt.

My neck and my back hurt. But this is one thing we've learned: The MAngusta is your friend and will save your life despite the common fear that the fiberglass/kevlar material is lightweight.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. When things go bad in the rain, you certainly have less control. At least nobody else got hurt or was involved. You should make sure that the frame isn't damaged before you decide to fix it up. I think there are crumple areas in the front, that should be checked too. Hopefully your insurance will provide good service & get things sorted out quickly.
