I have been wondering what the story is about the two different door handles that were used. From what I can tell, it's not a model/year thing, because I have seen 2000s that have the later style handles. So this leads me to believe that it may have been a supplier issue. I'm curious to know how many cars were made with the early style, & why was the switch made ?

We did a handle door upgrade around vin#85 although some 90's numbered cars have them..when building a vehicle by hand there is some overlap when engineering decides on change/upgrade.

The new handles look better IMO and some intergral structure changes were done to the door..
